Marceline, The Vampire Queen

My Feelings

As someone who often daydreams, I thought about her a lot even before I knew what Yumedanshi was. I like strong female characters. especially when they have a good character arch. We know that Marceline go through some rough stuff, and have a lot of issues, even though she ends up being a sweet, trustful person.

That's why I love her so much. And she was the first character I thought of when hearing about the Yume community. It's somewhere to care about... sometimes to get worried about, someone that can take a while to be true to her feelings, but also someone who you can trust to eventually sort her things out and be true to them, And that's play in the dynamic of this self-ship.

The Abadeer

Marceline's father is... something else. But I think I can relate with problems with family. I'd like to support and even talk about it to her if this was possible... it's a scenario I like to imagine.

Having a paternal figure is something I can't relate but, I do have struggles with my mother. Sometimes I also sing to let my frustrations out. And I also can surpass this struggle, I found Marceline very inspiring in that sense. I wonder if she would be open about it. I like to think that yeah, we would listen each other's problems.

The Looks

Marceline uses casual clothing and cool images on her shirt sometimes, I love it. She also has some cool clothing with a sense of urban style. I do care about how the characters I like dress up, her outfits resonates with me as well.

I also love her long black hair. I always loved long hair. I think she is beautiful. Ofr course she goes way beyond her looks as I already explained.
